「働かざるもの、食うべからず」という言葉は調べてみると、レーニンが新約聖書のパウロの言葉を取って言ったものらしい。つまり当初は、労働者階級の立場から、のうのうと暮らしている特権階級を糾弾するフレーズだったのだ。それが、最近では逆に「弱者」に向けて、自己責任論などと結びつけて発せられる狭量な言葉となっている。皮肉な話ですね。
